ELDERLY CARE
Friends in Elderly at MOWA-UGANDA reflects true love and care, they love to be loved like never before but however the responsibility of caring is often left to social service that is if families can’t provide adequate support to their elders just as it is evident in our communities where most of this vulnerable groups is left to survive on their own which is very hard for most of them due their age bracket.
Therefore our elderly care program comes to fill the gap, and it is well suited to caring for the elderly community members and we call upon donors and all patient volunteers who are comfortable in assisting with a range of duties with elderly care.
The volunteer works under this project include among others recreation and stimulation, physical therapy, as well as help with maintaining facilities.

$20 per month can build a happy friends in elderly community that will see these vulnerable groups able to access basic requirement and live a wonderful grand hood moments of their times. Be part of friends in elderly by supporting our grands.
INCOME GENERATING PROJECT
Community empowerment is a very vital element in ensuring that communities we work in and with are able to sustain the life changes and improve wellbeing standards.
Therefore we are engaging in small scale programmes to enable our communities that is to say widows and youth to provide basic needs to their family more so orphans and vulnerable children in their communities.
With various entrepreneur ideas that require support and training to initiate them, however these grass root community initiatives are at a standstill due to funding constricts.

SPONSORSHIP PROJECT

We support orphans and vulnerable children by providing education and social support for these children, we also support these children with the daily challenges they face to ensure that they can complete school successfully an improve their chances of building a better future for themselves.
So by sponsoring a child with MOWA-Uganda you are helping create appositive life impact by sending an orphan to school.
Ways you can help;

Donate $75 can pay for a child’s tuition for a year.

A child uniform as required by school a community is $15.
$10 will ensure that a child gets breakfast and lunch while at school
CLIMATE CHANGE PROJECT

Adaptation to climate change is important to reduce vulnerability in the short and long term. It involves cost but produces social and economic benefits, especially if a medium to long term perspective that is say if adopted in Mbale district.

Welfare is a key element in every child growth hence a balanced diet is so paramount in body building,as we seek ensure that all our kids have a better diet we call up all the well wishers to assist us any donate towards this cause is a step a head in sustaining this project.
